Melanie is a second year graduate student in the Social Work program, with her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Sociology, also from Appalachian State University. Her hobbies include playing in large bodies of water, hiking and exploring with her dog, Lennon (: , and spending time with friends and family! She can usually be found in her office located in the Women's Center, in class, or somewhere in the middle of nature, but is almost always reachable by email!
