Prom for a Prom

This year will mark the first Prom for a Prom event hosted by the Women’s Center. This event will be held with the help of Appalachian Nerd Network, The LGBT Center, SAGA, and TransAction. The theme for the second chance prom is “A Night in London” and will take place on Friday November 5th.

The event will be held in the Blue Ridge Ballroom from 7-10pm. A dessert table and photo opportunities will be available. Tickets will be $5 in advance and $7 at the door. Admission will be free with the donation of a formal dress or formal male attire. Advance tickets will be available in the Student Union the week of November 5th.

All proceeds go to Pioneer Prom Boutique to ensure students from Watauga High School have affordable dress options and all monetary proceeds will go for accessories and other fees associated with prom. Be sure to come out and have some fun while supporting our Boone community!
